Andrew Scott is Global Head of Secure Access for HSBC’s Retail Banking and Wealth Management business. In this role he is responsible for customer identification and access management across more than 30 markets and regulatory frameworks. He has worked in digital since 1996 with companies including Fujitsu, Liberate Technologies, Microsoft, the BBC and now HSBC. During that time he has held a variety of roles from solutions architect to product management, and for the last 5 years has led teams focussed on authentication and personalisation in both media and financial services. Today he is fully engaged in helping to deliver his team’s mission: Making it easy for the good guys, and hard for the bad guys.
