Austin Elwood

Austin joined UK Finance at the beginning of 2019, to support the Payments Policy team in their ongoing engagement activities within the industry, particularly in the development of the open banking ecosystem, the industry roll-out of Confirmation of Payee and supporting the transition of the UK’s wholesale cash infrastructure to a new industry model. Previously part of Payments UK’s Standards team; Austin worked on technical message standards on the Current Account Switching Service, Request-to-pay and Image Clearing System alongside wider participation in RTGS messaging design.
