Ian leads Mastercard Start Path for the European region. He has extensive experience over a 20 year career in banking, startups & innovation and has worked closely with some of the fastest growing startups in history, including Revolut and Airwallex. He espouses the merits of partnership between corporates and fintechs to create innovative, commercially material products and services.
Ian is an accountant and spent a decade working in Treasury before joining a startup in 2010 as Commercial Director. He joined Mastercard 5 years ago to drive the Start Path Program in Europe.
Start Path (Mastercard’s startup engagement program) has been recognized as the World’s Best Corporate Accelerator. The prestigious prize is a partnership between the innovation advisory firm Mind the Bridge and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
