Jill Docherty currently leads Business Development for the UK and Ireland. In this role, she has three functional responsibilities, new business development, onboarding and account management across a number of key strategic issuers and fintechs.
Jill joined Visa in March 2018 and initially led the product and solutions organisation across the UK and Ireland. In this role, she setup and resourced the function, defined the strategy and approach for the overall end-to-end delivery of all Visa capabilities.
Prior to joining Visa, Jill spent over ten years and held a number of senior roles at Mastercard across Africa, Asia and Europe within sales, marketing and product functions.
Earlier in her career, Jill held various board level roles at global marketing agencies, Grey Worldwide and McCann; working with clients such as Visa, Procter and Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, General Motors, Nestle and L’Oréal.
Jill is a true global citizen, she was born in England and raised in South Africa and she graduated from Durban University of Technology.
