Laurence Booth

Laurence Booth is Group Head of Data at Trust Payments and leads the data team – including engineering, analytics, reporting, and data science – across the enterprise. Prior to Trust, Laurence served as Chief Data Officer for Funding Xchange, a digital lending marketplace for UK SMEs where he was instrumental in driving portfolio monitoring services for lenders and commercialising data-driven products and services. Laurence has also worked as a freelance data and analytics strategy consultant for Western Union and various other financial services fintechs, including the payment-linked loyalty business Bink. He spent the earlier part of his career at American Express across a range of global data and analytics roles in issuing, acquiring, networking and Corporate Services.
