Mark Hewlett

Mark joined GC Partners fresh from a short stint at Revolut after over 7 years as Head of Banking Relationships Ebury Partners. With responsibilities spanning infrastructure and product, Mark was instrumental in enabling Ebury to be the first non-bank to be directly connected to Faster Payments, SEPA Instant, SWIFT GPI and their roll out across 30 countries. His remit on banking includes working with Global and Regional Banks, Regulators, Central Banks, Payment Processors and Market Infrastructures. Prior to Ebury, Mark started his career in retail banking where he became Branch Manager in under 3 years, then moved into the commodity sector in 2005.  Mark gained a reputation as a specialist within his field of expertise and has been regularly interviewed on CNBC in Europe, US, Middle East, Asia and Africa. Mark was the number one forecaster across Gold, Silver and Base Metals in the 2009 Reuters Poll of 40 Banks and trading houses.
