Michael Oliva

Michael Oliva is the Director of Dispute Resolution Management for Mastercard in Europe. He is a global thought leader on card payment scheme standards, chargeback practices and fraud management. He is an advocate for both consumer and merchant protections, and regularly promotes these domains to regulators and industry stakeholders. While he is active in Franchise management of the card payment scheme, he is also focused on extending such domains into A2A payments, Open Banking and other information-based ecosystems. Michael joined Mastercard in 2012 and has since worked in Brussels, Singapore and most recently Amsterdam.
