At GPS, Uma leads a global, commercial team responsible for managing and developing relationships with strategic partners around the world. These are principally the card schemes, Visa and Mastercard, but also issuing banks, BIN sponsors, product and technology partners.
Uma has over 12 years’ experience in global business development and partnerships, specialising in payments, lending and digital banking. Prior to GPS, he held senior leadership roles at several high-growth fintech start-ups and scale-ups, including EMQ, WorldRemit and Virgin Money.
